Who it's for

Three personas. One sharp use case.

Persona 01

Online marketplace

B2C or C2C — your DSA obligations differ sharply from a SaaS company's.

Persona 02

User-generated content platform

Forums, social, video — illegal content procedures matter more than for other categories.

Persona 03

Hosting / cloud service

Even backend hosting providers have specific DSA obligations.

What it does

Six features. All operational.

01

Scope diagnostic

Determines whether you're intermediary, hosting, online platform, or VLOP — and which obligations apply.

02

Illegal-content procedure

Notice-and-action workflow, statement-of-reasons generator, complaint-handling log.

03

Annual transparency report

Pre-built template against Article 15 requirements with the right data fields.

04

Systemic-risk assessment

For platforms above the 45m monthly active user threshold — full risk-assessment workflow.

05

Trusted-flagger queue

Prioritised intake from designated trusted flaggers per Article 22.

06

Audit ready

All actions logged in a tamper-evident audit trail.

Regulation in plain English

The DSA backdrop.

The Digital Services Act (Regulation (EU) 2022/2065) is the EU's overhaul of intermediary liability and platform responsibility. It applies to any online service that reaches EU users, regardless of where the provider is established. Provisions for online platforms commenced February 2024; the VLOP-tier obligations started August 2023.

The obligations are layered. Every intermediary has baseline obligations (terms of service, transparency, designated point of contact). Hosting providers add notice-and-action obligations. Online platforms add complaint-handling, trusted-flagger, advertising-transparency, and annual reporting obligations. VLOPs add risk assessments, independent audits, and data-access obligations for researchers.

Fines reach up to 6% of global turnover. The Commission has already issued formal proceedings against multiple VLOPs since launch, and several have settled with major operational changes.

Questions

Common questions before joining the waitlist.

When does it ship?
Q4 2026. Beta access for waitlist members from early Q4; general availability end of Q4.
Does my platform fall under the DSA?
Likely yes if you host user content or facilitate transactions and serve EU users — even if you're UK-based. The diagnostic surfaces this in 10 minutes.
What's the difference vs the VLOP designation?
Below 45m EU monthly active users you're a regular online platform. Above, you're a Very Large Online Platform (VLOP) with substantially more obligations — including independent audits. The Mapper handles both tiers.
What about the AI Act / DSA overlap?
The DSA Mapper focuses on DSA obligations. The EU AI Act diagnostic (already live) handles AI Act obligations. Both can apply to the same platform.
